Amid an escalation of violence in the West Bank and Jerusalem, two Israeli reservist soldiers were injured in a car-ramming attack on Thursday.
The attack, which took place in the western part of the Jordan Valley, marks the second Palestinian assault within hours in these regions.
According to the Israeli military, the soldiers sustained minor injuries when a checkpoint they were manning was targeted. Other soldiers at the scene responded by opening fire on the Palestinian driver, resulting in his death.

Earlier on Thursday, another Palestinian attack occurred near a settlement in Jerusalem. This attack led to the deaths of three Israelis and injuries to eight others.
Israeli settlers and soldiers killed the perpetrators of this attack, identified as two brothers from the Sur Baher area of Jerusalem, affiliated with the Hamas movement, which claimed responsibility for the operation.
