In the early hours of today, the Israeli army announced the death of an officer and a soldier, along with injuries to three other soldiers in two separate attacks in northern Gaza last night.
The resistance forces also carried out several operations against the occupying forces in the Gaza Strip.
Yesterday, the Israeli army reported the death of an officer from the 75th Battalion and injuries to three others in battles in the northern sector of Gaza.
Additionally, the Israeli army stated that the 98th Division continues to fight in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, killing several militants and discovering various combat equipment within the past 24 hours.
The Israeli Air Force has also been active, bombing militants in central Gaza and conducting airstrikes in the Rafah area targeting both militants and infrastructure in the city.
In response, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed that their fighters targeted the headquarters of the occupation’s operations in the neighborhood, inflicting casualties among its members.
The Qassam Brigades released footage showing an Israeli force caught in an ambush inside a fortified building in Shuja’iyya, eastern Gaza City.
In Rafah to the south, the Qassam Brigades announced they had targeted two Merkava tanks with Yassin 105 shells in the western camp of Tel Sultan.
These incidents highlight the ongoing and intense conflict in the Gaza Strip, as both sides continue to engage in fierce battles resulting in significant casualties and damage.
The situation remains volatile with no immediate resolution in sight, further escalating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
