The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has reported the death of two members of the Ninth Brigade, affiliated with the Turkey-backed “National Army,” in an explosion.
A third member was injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) attached to their vehicle detonated in eastern Aleppo’s countryside.
The observatory noted on Monday that the attack, which took place last night, was in the town of Qabasin, within the “Euphrates Shield” area in eastern Aleppo, as per the “Arab World News Agency.”
The frontlines between Turkish forces, the Ankara-aligned “National Army” factions, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and the Syrian government forces in Aleppo have seen sporadic clashes in recent times. These confrontations have resulted in casualties and injuries on both sides.
