The Israeli military has confirmed the deaths of three soldiers during ongoing military operations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The announcement came early Thursday, detailing the loss of two soldiers near Nablus in the West Bank and one soldier in northern Gaza.
According to the Times of Israel, the two soldiers killed near Nablus were identified as Sergeant Ilia Khalil, 20, from Tel Zion, and Sergeant Diego Shweisha Harsag, 20, from Tel Aviv.
Both were fighters in the Nahshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade and were killed during operational activities.
In northern Gaza, Sergeant Yedidia Azugi, 21, a fighter in the 101st Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade, was killed in combat on Wednesday.
The newspaper also reported that the total number of Israeli soldiers killed since the ground operation began in Gaza has now risen to 292.
