On Monday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that it had successfully repelled 15 assaults launched by the Ukrainian military along the Donetsk and Krasnyi Lyman frontlines, leading to the loss of approximately 695 Ukrainian soldiers in the last 24 hours.
In its daily briefing, the Ministry spotlighted the successful defense against 13 Ukrainian offensives along the Donetsk line, resulting in an estimated 320 Ukrainian casualties. In these confrontations, the Russian forces managed to destroy a US-made M777 artillery piece, a self-propelled Krab artillery system of Polish origin, a “Msta-B” howitzer, two “Rapira” anti-tank guns, and a U.S.-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar system.
The defense operations along the Krasnyi Lyman frontline successfully stopped two attacks, neutralizing two Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage squads, which resulted in approximately 60 enemy fatalities and the destruction of a U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery piece and a “D-30” howitzer.
Regarding the actions in the south of Donetsk and Zaporizhia, losses inflicted on the Ukrainian military included around 240 soldiers, a U.S.-made self-propelled M109 Paladin artillery piece, three “Msta-B” howitzers, a self-propelled “Akatsiya” artillery system, and a “D-30” howitzer. Additionally, 35 Ukrainian soldiers were killed on the Kupiansk front, and another 40 on the Kherson front.
Russian bombardments damaged 73 Ukrainian artillery units situated in firing positions and military hardware in 68 zones. Furthermore, four enemy ammunition warehouses in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhia, as well as a fuel depot for military equipment in Donetsk, were destroyed.
The Russian aerial defenses intercepted three Storm Shadow cruise missiles and three HIMARS missiles while also shooting down 19 Ukrainian drones.
