In a sweeping campaign of arrests across various West Bank provinces, Israeli forces detained 30 Palestinians on Tuesday
The campaign, marked by its scale, saw arrests in different cities and towns, raising concerns about the situation in the region.
The Palestinian News and Information Agency “WAFA” reported today that the arrests targeted 12 individuals in Hebron, nine in Nablus, five in Ramallah, four in Jenin, and four in Silwan, Jerusalem.
As reported by the Palestinian Press Agency, the detained individuals were transferred for interrogation by Israeli security agencies, allegedly under the premise of involvement in armed resistance activities.
These arrests were accompanied by the invasion of numerous homes and the disturbance of their contents by the Israeli occupation forces. Furthermore, residents of these homes were subjected to on-site interrogations, lasting for hours.
Just yesterday, Israeli forces apprehended three Palestinian youths who attempted to breach the security barrier surrounding occupied Jerusalem.
Their movement was detected by surveillance devices employed by the occupation, and one of them was found in possession of a kitchen knife.
