The Government Media Office in Gaza has released updated statistics on the ongoing “genocidal war” waged by Israel against the Gaza Strip over the past 120 days.
The staggering figures reveal that Tel Aviv is responsible for 2,325 mass massacres, resulting in 34,238 martyrs and missing persons, with 27,238 reaching hospitals.
The update, issued on Saturday, highlights the grim toll on the civilian population, with 12,000 children and 8,190 women among those killed.
The conflict has also severely impacted medical and emergency services, with 339 medical staff, 46 civil defense personnel, and 122 journalists reported as martyrs.
Additionally, 7,000 individuals remain missing, 70% of whom are children and women, and 66,452 have been injured.
The healthcare crisis in Gaza has reached a critical point, with 11,000 severely injured individuals in dire need of medical treatment abroad, and 10,000 cancer patients facing the threat of death.
The displacement caused by the conflict has led to 700,000 people suffering from infectious diseases, including 8,000 cases of viral hepatitis due to unsanitary conditions. Pregnant women and chronic disease patients are also at high risk due to the lack of medical supplies and care.
Israeli forces have arrested 99 healthcare workers and 10 journalists, contributing to the disruption of essential services. The conflict has displaced 2 million people within the Gaza Strip.
The infrastructure damage is extensive, with Israel destroying 140 government buildings, 100 schools and universities completely, and partially damaging 295 educational institutions.
Religious sites have not been spared, with 183 mosques completely destroyed, 264 partially damaged, and 3 churches targeted. Residential areas have suffered immensely, with 70,000 housing units completely destroyed and 290,000 partially damaged, rendering them uninhabitable.
The assault has also led to the destruction of 200 cultural and heritage sites, further eroding Gaza’s historical legacy.
The Israeli military has dropped 66,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, incapacitating 30 hospitals and 53 health centers, and partially damaging 150 healthcare institutions. Additionally, 122 ambulances have been destroyed, severely hindering emergency medical responses.
The devastation in Gaza underlines the urgent need for a ceasefire and humanitarian intervention to address the escalating humanitarian crisis and infrastructure collapse in the region.
