In the early hours of Tuesday, dozens of civilians were killed or injured due to intensive airstrikes and artillery shelling by Israeli forces across various parts of the Gaza Strip, marking the 158th day of Israeli aggression against the region.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, health sources in Gaza reported that seven individuals were killed and over 20 were injured following an Israeli attack targeting civilians at the Kuwait Intersection in Gaza City as they awaited aid deliveries.
The victims were subsequently transported to Al-Shifa Medical Complex for treatment.
Additionally, several citizens were injured in an Israeli airstrike that hit a house in the Saudi neighborhood in the city of Rafah.
Artillery shelling also targeted the eastern areas of Absan al-Kabira and Khuza’a in Khan Younis, resulting in further casualties among the residents.
In the past 24 hours, the Israeli military has committed seven massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, leading to 67 deaths and 106 injuries.
Consequently, the unofficial death toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, has escalated to 31,112, with 72,760 injuries, as reported by the Ministry of Health on Monday.
This continuous violence underscores the dire situation in Gaza, where civilians are increasingly caught in the crossfire, facing the devastating impact of military operations on their lives and safety.
