The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army executed seven airdrops of humanitarian aid and relief in coordination with partner countries, targeting various locations in the northern Gaza Strip, as announced in a statement today.
The airdrop operation involved one aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), four aircraft from the United States, one aircraft from the Arab Republic of Egypt, and one from the Federal Republic of Germany.
Emphasizing their unwavering commitment, the Jordanian Armed Forces reiterated their dedication to providing humanitarian and medical assistance through airlifts from Marka Airport to Al-Arish International Airport, airdrop operations over Gaza, or land convoys. This initiative aims to support the people of Gaza in overcoming challenging conditions, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly nations, as stated in the release.
Since the onset of the “Israeli” aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023, the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army have conducted a total of 87 airdrops, with an additional 209 airdrops carried out in collaboration with partner countries
