Telegram has rolled out its Stories feature to all users today, after initially introducing it to Premium subscribers last month.
In a recent blog post, Telegram stated that users can now experience vivid glimpses of others’ lives beyond just profile pictures.
Coinciding with Telegram’s 10th anniversary, Stories has been cited as the most sought-after feature in the platform’s history. Users have various privacy settings to determine who sees their stories, and they can even hide stories from specific contacts.
Premium members can set the duration their posts are visible, and they also get insights into who viewed their stories.
The feature supports dual-camera mode for simultaneous front and back camera shots and enables reactions from viewers.
While all users have access to basic Stories functionalities, Premium subscribers, at $5 a month, enjoy advanced features.
These include prioritized story display, stealth mode viewing, custom story durations, comprehensive view history, saving stories, extended caption lengths, and the ability to post up to 100 stories daily.
