Algeria welcomed Palestinian children who were injured along with their companions in Gaza, arriving from Cairo Airport on two military planes in the second evacuation operation of its kind.
This marks the second evacuation following the first one on March 28 last year.
Algerian authorities allocated two aircraft from the Air Force equipped with necessary medical facilities, accompanied by specialized medical teams from the military health services.
Upon arrival, the wounded will receive comprehensive medical care, treatment, and necessary support at military hospitals.
Their companions will also be taken care of at the army’s social medical service clubs, demonstrating Algeria’s commitment, both government and people, to unconditional and unlimited solidarity with the Palestinian people.
This operation will be followed by subsequent evacuations targeting other categories of the injured.
Algeria has a history of supporting Palestinian causes and has been involved in humanitarian efforts to assist Palestinians in times of crisis.
The recent evacuation of injured children from Gaza is part of Algeria’s ongoing efforts to provide medical aid and support to Palestinians affected by conflicts and crises.
The country’s military and medical infrastructure play a crucial role in facilitating such evacuations and providing necessary care to the wounded.
This evacuation highlights Algeria’s commitment to humanitarian principles and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
