Algerian Foreign Minister, Ahmed Attaf, arrived in Beijing today to participate in the tenth ministerial meeting of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum, on behalf of the President of the Republic. According to a statement from the ministry, this meeting coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum, offering a pivotal opportunity to evaluate the two-decade-long partnership between the Arab states and China. The discussions will cover ways to enhance this partnership across various dimensions, including political, economic, social, and cultural aspects.
In addition to his participation in the forum, Minister Attaf has a busy schedule in Beijing, including a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. He will also hold bilateral discussions with several Chinese officials, aiming to follow up on the significant outcomes of the state visit made by the President of the Republic to China in July last year. These meetings underscore the ongoing commitment to strengthening the multifaceted relations between Algeria and China.
