The findings highlight Apple’s recruitment preferences, with a concentration on employees from specific tech companies such as Amazon, Adobe, Google, IBM, Intel, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oracle, and Tesla. This aligns with Apple’s strategic moves, such as the acquisition of Intel’s smartphone modem business in 2019.
When Apple employees decide to leave the company, Google emerges as their most common destination, followed closely by Amazon. The top ten companies that attract departing Apple employees include Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Tesla, Nvidia, Salesforce, Adobe, Intel, and Oracle.
On the flip side, Google exhibits a significant interest in hiring from Apple, and this extends to recruiting from other tech giants like Microsoft. With over two million job applications received annually, Google has successfully onboarded 12,018 individuals with previous Microsoft experience. Google’s hiring efforts also extend to attracting talent with prior experience at Meta and IBM, which rank second and third, respectively.
