Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain in Moscow on Thursday, the Kremlin announced on Wednesday. The leaders are set to discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation topics and international affairs, focusing particularly on the Middle East.
King Hamad’s visit to Moscow comes at the invitation of President Putin. During their meeting, they will review the outcomes of the recent 33rd Arab Summit, hosted in Bahrain last week. Their discussions aim to strengthen cooperation between Russia and Bahrain and address current regional and international developments.
In addition to his visit to Russia, King Hamad will travel to China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. He will participate in the opening session of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, where discussions will center on enhancing Bahrain-China relations and reviewing the results of the Arab Summit.
These meetings highlight Bahrain’s active role in international diplomacy and its efforts to bolster ties with major global powers.
