Renewed military confrontations have erupted between the Sudanese Army and the Rapid Support Forces today, Saturday, around the Armored Corps south of Khartoum, the Army’s General Command headquarters to the east, and the Signal Corps in Bahri city.

The army is attempting to advance from the axes of Wadi Sidna to the north of Omdurman and the Engineers Corps to the south to tighten the siege on the Rapid Support Forces in the city center.
The Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and Army Commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed on Friday that the army would fight the Rapid Support Forces “until the end of one side or the other.”
