The British authorities have canceled multiple flights and suspended train services as Storm Joseline sweeps across the United Kingdom.
According to the English-language news bulletin from Sky News today, Wednesday, 8 flights at Dublin Airport in Ireland and 4 flights at Glasgow Airport in Scotland have been canceled.
Train services in Scotland have also been suspended, with drivers warned to postpone their journeys.
The channel reported that Storm Joseline hit the United Kingdom after claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving another seriously injured in the capital, Esha.
Euro News, in its English-language broadcast, mentioned that Storm Joseline has caused power outages for tens of thousands of people and disrupted hundreds of flights and train journeys.
The storm brought heavy rainfall and fierce winds, reaching speeds of over 160 kilometers per hour.
Authorities have advised citizens to stay away from the coastline, noting that the storm is expected to bring more high winds and rainfall.
