The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has released updated figures on the casualties resulting from the ongoing Israeli aggression, which has persisted for 213 days in the region.
According to Gaza’s Health Authority, the death toll from the aggression has risen to 34,735 martyrs, with 78,108 injured individuals.
The statement highlighted that the Israeli occupation committed five massacres against families in Gaza, resulting in 52 martyrs and 90 injuries transferred to hospitals within the past 24 hours.
It further noted that some victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, inaccessible to ambulance crews and civil defense teams.
The Gaza Strip, a densely populated Palestinian territory along the Mediterranean coast, has been subjected to multiple Israeli military operations over the years, leading to significant loss of life and infrastructure damage.
The recent escalation in violence has intensified humanitarian concerns, with international calls for a cessation of hostilities and efforts to address the root causes of the conflict.
