Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has issued a stark warning, stating that any Israeli attack on Iranian soil could lead to the complete destruction of the “Zionist regime,” according to reports from the official IRNA news agency on Tuesday.
During a three-day visit to Pakistan aimed at enhancing bilateral trade to $10 billion annually, Raisi emphasized the need for regional stability amidst escalating tensions. Both nations are working to repair relations following recent military exchanges.
Although explosions rocked Isfahan last Friday, allegedly from an Israeli attack, Tehran downplayed the incident, signaling no immediate plans for retaliation. Earlier in April, Iran launched a barrage of missiles and drones at Israel in response to a suspected Israeli strike on its embassy compound in Damascus.
Raisi reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian resistance during a speech in Lahore, pledging continued backing for their cause.
