The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor revealed that the bombardment on the Gaza Strip carried a force of 1.5 times the Hiroshima explosion.
From October 7 to November 2, 25 tons of explosives were dropped on Gaza, compared to the 15 tons unleashed on Hiroshima during World War II.

The uranium bomb dropped on Hiroshima weighed 4,500 kilograms with a force of 15,000 tons of TNT, demolishing five square miles of the city.
Article 25 of the Hague Convention respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land, signed on October 18, 1907, prohibits attacking or bombarding towns, villages, dwellings or buildings not defended, regardless of the means used.
Similarly, Article 147 of the Fourth Geneva Convention dated August 12, 1949, stipulates that the extensive destruction of property not justified by military necessity is a grave breach requiring prosecution.
