The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Dutch ambassador in Amman yesterday evening to convey a protest message to his government following statements made by Dutch extremist Geert Wilders in support of a condemned decision by the so-called “Knesset” in the Israeli occupation entity.
This decision denies the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to their independent and sovereign state on their national soil.
According to the official Petra News Agency, ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah stated that the Dutch ambassador was summoned to the ministry headquarters and handed a strongly worded protest message to be immediately conveyed to his government.
The message demanded that the Dutch government take a clear stance condemning these statements, which contradict the friendly and mutually respectful relations between the two countries.
Qudah remarked that the inciteful statements made by this racist parliamentarian are of no legal value or effect, constitute a violation of international law, and reflect a culture of racial hatred that must be combated.
