The historical ties between Egypt and Jordan have always been characterized by mutual cooperation across various sectors, and recent statements from key figures further highlight this bond.
Amjad Al-Adailah, Jordan’s Ambassador to Cairo, underscored the desire and commitment of both nations to continuously integrate and collaborate. Speaking on the “From Egypt” program with journalist Amr Khalil on the CBC satellite channel, Al-Adailah expressed, “Egyptian-Jordanian relations are extremely strong.”
During the phone interview, Ambassador Al-Adailah emphasized the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in various industries and at multiple levels. One of the concrete manifestations of this commitment is the frequent organization of joint preparatory committee conferences between Egypt and Jordan. “It’s the most consistent committee in terms of attendance in the Arab world,” the ambassador stated.
He also highlighted the ongoing efforts to bolster both economic and diplomatic ties, aiming to achieve deeper integration between the two nations. Such strong relations are based on robust historical links, the organization of labor serving all Jordanian productive sectors, and the growing trade movement between Egypt and Jordan.
