Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, was hospitalized on Wednesday due to urgent health issues. According to the state news agency KUNA, he is currently in a stable condition.
The agency, citing a Kuwaiti official, stated that the Emir is undergoing necessary medical treatment and examinations. Sheikh Nawaf assumed his role as the ruler of Kuwait in September 2020, following the passing of his half-brother, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah, who died at the age of 91.
Sheikh Al-Sabah’s ascension to the throne as the Emir of Kuwait came after the death of his half-brother, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah.
