Abubakr Al-Zawi, the Deputy Minister of Local Governance, commenced the distribution of the tenth batch of compensation to those affected by Cyclone Daniel.
He handed over 500 certificates to 500 families at the National Theater in the city of Derna on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Libyan government, this distribution is in line with the directives of Dr. Osama Hamad, the Chairman of the High Committee for Emergencies and Rapid Response, who is also the Prime Minister of the Libyan government.
The Deputy Minister of Local Governance emphasized that the distribution of certificates will continue, with another 500 certificates scheduled for distribution on Thursday.
He emphasized that the delivery process will continue until all families receive compensation.
