The Libyan Army’s General Command announced on Thursday that it has initiated the delivery of the first batch of medical and humanitarian aid to extend support to the people of Gaza. This action is in compliance with the directives of Libyan Army Commander Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
The official Facebook page of the Libyan Army’s General Command shared a video showing volunteers and trucks adorned with the flags of Libya and Palestine, ready to transport aid. It remains unclear whether this assistance will be transported by air from Benina International Airport in Benghazi to Al-Arish Airport in northern Sinai, Egypt, or via a land route.
The Israeli aggression against Gaza has continued for twenty days. The Palestinian Ministry of Interior announced today that the death toll from the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people has risen to 7,028 martyrs, including 481 martyrs in the past 24 hours.
This comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which began on October 7th, following the “Operation Al-Aqsa Tempest” launched by the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, against settlements in the Gaza Strip.
