Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is set to arrive in Egypt on an official visit at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian tripartite summit.
The summit will bring together Abbas, El-Sisi, and the Jordanian King Abdullah II in the city of El-Alamein. The leaders will discuss the various issues at the Arab, regional, and international levels in order to unify their positions on how to deal with the political, regional, and international movements.
Palestine’s ambassador to Egypt, Diab al-Louh, highlighted that they will also discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian issue.
During the summit, the three leaders will coordinate positions on garnering international support to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and achieve their legitimate national rights to freedom and independence and establish their state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
