Sponsored by Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Head of the Human Capability Development Program Committee, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the first edition of the Human Capability Initiative Conference is scheduled for February 28th and 29th, 2024. The event will take place at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.
Themed “Preparing for the Future,” the conference will host over 6,000 experts and specialists, including 150 global speakers from thought leaders, policy-makers, and representatives from government, private, and non-profit sectors, as well as think tanks from 50 countries. These participants will convene in Riyadh to share best practices, showcase inspiring global success stories, and explore cooperation in human capability development. The event aims to contribute to a sustainable global agenda that innovates solutions for human capabilities across all age groups and to foster radical transformations that anticipate the future and build a promising future.
Education Minister and Head of the Executive Committee of the Human Capability Development Program, Professor Yousef Al-Benyan, stated that the conference is a first-of-its-kind global collaborative platform. It aims to unify international efforts and enrich global dialogue, contributing to the development of future human capabilities and building a thriving global economy. The conference will address the key challenges facing the human capability system amid global changes and the crucial skills required for the future global job market. It will also discuss the impact of rapid advancements in technology and economics on human capabilities.
Al-Benyan emphasized the significance of the topics to be covered in the conference sessions, organized by the Human Capability Development Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030. The conference plays a vital role in stimulating and guiding international discussions on human capability development, contributing to building strong and resilient economies to face future challenges.
