On Saturday, Russia confirmed it had targeted a command post in Ukraine’s Dnipro on the previous day, responding to Kyiv’s claim that a missile had hit a residential building there, resulting in nine injuries.
“On the evening of July 28, the Ukrainian armed forces’ command post in Dnepropetrovsk was targeted by the Russian military using high-precision weaponry,” the Russian defense ministry stated, using Dnipro’s former name. “The intended target was successfully hit.”
Kyiv authorities reported on Friday that a Russian missile hit a residential complex in Dnipro, causing injuries to nine individuals, including two children.
It was also mentioned by officials that several other structures were affected, including an unoccupied building owned by the nation’s security service.
