Saudi Arabia‘s Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, held discussions on Tuesday with China’s Minister of Emergency Management Wang Xiangping to explore ways to strengthen and support cooperation in the fields of emergency response and civil protection between the two nations.
They also discussed several topics of mutual interest.
The session of talks was also attended by Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud, the Deputy Minister of Interior; Mohammed bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs; Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, Director-General of General Security; Lieutenant General Hamoud Al-Faraj, Acting Director-General of Civil Defense; and a number of officials from the Interior Ministry.
Meanwhile, senior officials from China’s Ministry of Emergency Management also participated in the discussions.
The discussions focused on fostering collaboration and exchange of expertise in emergency response, disaster management, and civil protection.
Both nations are keen to enhance their capabilities in dealing with various emergencies and ensuring the safety and well-being of their citizens.
