Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received on Thursday US national security adviser Jake Sullivan and they discussed bilateral ties and matters of common interest, Al Arabiya reported.
During the meeting held in Jeddah, the Saudi crown prince and Sullivan reviewed “strategic relations between both countries and means of enhancing them across various fields”.
The report added that Bin Salman and Sullivan also discussed the latest regional and international developments that are of common interest.
Senior delegations from both sides were present at the meeting.
The White House issued a statement on the meeting saying that Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Sullivan discussed “bilateral and regional matters” and initiatives for a Middle East region that is “interconnected” with the world as well as the situation in different countries including Yemen.
