Prince Khalid bin Salman, the Saudi Defense Minister, met in Jeddah with Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak.
During the meeting, they reviewed the recent developments in Yemen and the efforts being made to complete and implement the roadmap sponsored by the United Nations.
They also discussed the existing efforts to support the progress of the political process among Yemeni parties and the peace process to achieve security and stability in Yemen.
The Defense Minister reaffirmed the Kingdom’s steadfast support for the government and people of Yemen, meeting their aspirations and contributing to the development and prosperity of Yemen.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, and the Director-General of the Defense Minister’s Office, Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saeed.
From the Yemeni side, Anis Bahartha, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Mujib Othman, the State Advisor to the Prime Minister, were present.
