Today, Saturday, Somali Minister of Internal Security, Major General Abdullah Sheikh Ismail, discussed with the Special Envoy of the African Union in the country and the head of the African Union Transitional Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), Mohamed Al-Amin Suwai, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the security field and counterterrorism.
According to Somalia’s News Agency “SONNA,” the two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
The Somali minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the role played by the African Union mission in enhancing security and stability in the country and combating terrorism.
