Telegram has announced the introduction of several new features aimed at making the app more practical and useful for its users.
Among the updates, a new tab has been added to the “Channels” menu, which provides users with a list of all the channels they follow, along with recommendations for new channels to explore.
In the app’s settings menu, a new section called “Profile” allows users to add personal information such as their birth date, along with other data.
Users can also add animated “Stories” and emojis, and view how their profile appears to other users.
Additionally, within this “Profile” section, users have the option to add their own channel, making it easier for others to follow them.
With the latest updates, Telegram users can now share their live geographic location with others, allowing friends to see their whereabouts in real time.
Users have the flexibility to set the duration for location sharing or to stop it at any time.
Telegram has also enhanced its settings for controlling notifications related to message interactions and stories.
Moreover, the app now features an instant preview of links in the desktop version, improving the browsing experience within the app.
These updates are part of Telegram’s ongoing efforts to enhance functionality and user engagement on the platform.
