Former US President Donald Trump has leveled accusations against Joe Biden, asserting that Biden is attempting to manipulate the 2024 presidential election by permitting illegal immigrants to vote.
In his New Year’s message, the former president insinuated that Biden‘s apparent lack of action in bolstering border security was a strategy to gain more votes in the upcoming November election.
Trump’s message accused Biden and his supporters of continuously trying to undermine the nation through various means, including legal manipulation, allowing unauthorized entry into the country, and election tampering.
He claimed that there is an effort to register a large number of these illegal entrants to vote in the 2024 presidential election.
This statement indicates that Trump intends to maintain his stance of alleging electoral fraud during his campaign this year, a continuation of his disputed claims regarding the 2020 election results. These claims are now part of a criminal trial in Georgia.
Trump and his allies face racketeering charges in Georgia for their efforts to challenge Biden’s win and propagate false assertions about the election’s legitimacy.
Additionally, another trial scheduled to start this year in Washington DC will delve into allegations that Trump tried to defraud the American public by interfering with the election results.
Trump has consistently argued that the legal challenges against him, including recent efforts to disqualify him from the ballot in at least two states, are politically motivated.
His critics, however, contend that he is ineligible to run for office due to his involvement in actions against the United States, referencing a lesser-known amendment to the US Constitution.
These legal battles have drawn criticism from Trump’s key adversaries. Meanwhile, David Axelrod, a strategist for former President Obama, has cautioned that defeating Trump at the polls is essential to avoid potential widespread civil unrest.
