The Ministry of Defense’s Joint Operations Command has announced the successful execution of the 33rd aerial drop of humanitarian and relief aid in northern Gaza as part of “Operation Birds of Goodness.”
This operation involved the participation of aircraft from the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt, underscoring a collaborative regional effort to support isolated areas in Gaza.
The aerial drop included two C17 aircraft from the UAE Air Force and two C295 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force.
These aircraft collectively delivered 82 tons of food and relief supplies to inaccessible regions in northern Gaza, bringing the total aid delivered since the inception of “Operation Birds of Goodness” to 2,107 tons.
To date, the UAE has surpassed sending a total of 2,477 tons of aid to northern Gaza, both by land through the Kerem Shalom crossing and by air through this operation.
“Operation Birds of Goodness” is part of “Operation Valiant Knight 3,” aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza.
This initiative highlights the ongoing commitment of regional allies to provide critical support amidst challenging circumstances.
