The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has conveyed heartfelt condolences and solidarity to Japan in the wake of a deadly earthquake that struck the country’s center, resulting in numerous casualties.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to Japan and its people, extending condolences to the families and relatives affected by this tragic event.
The ministry also expressed hopes for a swift recovery for those injured in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Western Japan experienced a series of powerful earthquakes, leaving at least 55 people dead and causing extensive damage to numerous buildings, vehicles, and boats.
Authorities have issued warnings of possible additional earthquakes in the region. A magnitude 7.6 temblor struck Ishikawa prefecture and surrounding areas, with aftershocks continuing to impact the region.
The extent of the damage is significant, and initial assessments have revealed the destruction of tens of thousands of homes.
