The UAE received the fifteenth batch of Palestinian children, including those wounded and others suffering from cancer, following directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to treat 1,000 wounded Palestinian children and another 1,000 suffering from cancer from the Gaza Strip in the country’s hospitals.
The plane, arriving from El Arish Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, landed at Zayed International Airport carrying 27 individuals in need of medical care, along with 60 family members accompanying them.
Upon the aircraft’s arrival, medical teams transferred those requiring immediate care to hospitals for treatment, while the remaining individuals and their companions were taken to the Emirates Humanitarian City, their residence.
The patients and their families expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the UAE and its wise leadership for this noble humanitarian initiative, highlighting it as a unique model of solidarity and support among brotherly nations.
They reaffirmed the UAE’s longstanding commitment to providing assistance and relief to the Palestinian people, appreciating the efforts of medical and volunteer teams that offered them complete support.
