The US State Department called for an end to all acts of violence and incitement between the Israeli and Palestinian sides.
Washington denounced the attack committed by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, which killed a 19-year-old Palestinian.
It also condemned the attack that took place in Tel Aviv, which resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others.
The department stressed the need to hold accountable those responsible for all acts of violence.
Last week, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki attacked the Biden administration as violence between Israel and the Palestinians surges to its highest levels in nearly two decades.
“I’m frustrated,” Malki told members of the Foreign Press Association. “It seemed that (Biden) wanted to change all policies Trump has taken, but not when it comes to Palestine.”
